Twin Cities Angels II, LLC, Makes an Investment in Minnesota-based "Once Innovations", an LED Technology Company. The Angel Fund makes it’s fourth investment out of its second Fund.
MINNEAPOLIS, (March 2, 2011) – Twin Cities Angels II, LLC (“TCA-II”) today announced the closing of its investment in ONCE Innovations, a Plymouth, MN based LED technology developer. ONCE Innovation has emerged as a leading developer of LED lighting designed specifically for the poultry market.
ONCE (www.onceinnovations.com) has emerged as a leading manufacture of LED lighting designed specifically for the poultry market. It’s line of AgriShift® LED poultry lights are much more energy efficient and longer lasting than traditional lighting used in the poultry industry. Additionally, the output from AgriShift® lamps mimic the spectral sensitivity of poultry and are fully dimmable with color shifting technologies. These features help enhance flock performance that can lead to more profits for producers.
ONCE is the 4th investment by Twin Cities Angels’ second fund. “We are very pleased to secure funding from the Twin Cities Angels® Investors,” said Zdenko Grajcar, CEO of ONCE. “It’s a testament to our innovative technologies and recognition that we are poised for rapid growth through our efforts to expand licensing of our technologies to the general illumination market as well as increasing our direct sales of products to agricultural markets.”
